What We Do
Three pillars that guide our mission of unity, memory, and support.
Bereaved Families
We connect ~3,000 diaspora families who lost loved ones serving in the IDF with Israeli families — creating lifelong bonds of shared memory.
Lone Soldiers
We provide practical assistance, emotional support, and warm hospitality to lone soldiers far from home.
Jerusalem & Diaspora Shabbat
Our flagship program unites communities worldwide in a shared Shabbat experience — "שבת ירושלים והתפוצות".
After October 7th
The events of October 7, 2023 shattered thousands of families — in Israel and across the Jewish world. Bridge of Gold has intensified its work to bring these families together, offering connection, solidarity, and hope.
In the darkest moments, we discovered that we are not alone. Families from five continents reached out to us. That is the Bridge of Gold.

Our Impact
Three decades of building bridges that endure.

Attorney Yehuda Zaretsky
Yehuda Zaretsky founded Bridge of Gold in the aftermath of the 1991 Gulf War — when Scud missiles fell on Tel Aviv and Jews around the world felt helpless. His vision: that shared pain could become the foundation for unbreakable unity between Israel and the Diaspora.
